Performances of this hysterical whodunnit saw the inept cast of Boris Smolensky’s budget repertory production of “Murder at Priorswell Manor”, preparing for opening night.  The actors have forgotten all their notes from the director,  props are going AWOL and the doors in the set keep jamming.  Add to this the ultimate inconvenience when life imitates art and Boris’ wife, Renee, is murdered on stage, and you had the makings for a brilliant night of comedy and guesswork.

Helen Ricketts made her directing debut for the Hawarden Players with this fantastic play, assisted by Jane Nugent. The cast list was as follows:
